Fast and accurate production of holes, slots, cut-outs and formed features in a variety of sheet metal materials and thicknesses. A single head format enables you a complete freedom of design for your sheet metal components.

CNC Punching of sheet metal blank

Trumpf 3000 punch press

All features as above but with the addition of tapped holes, small bends and witness free punching. This machine format can cope with the smallest bracket to the largest sheet metal enclosures.

CNC Bending

Edwards Pearson, LVD and Guifil press brakes.

Fast production of complex bent or formed sheet metal fabrications up to 2500mm long. Sheet metal enclosures from hand held devices to 19” racks can be manufactured in a range of batch quantities.

Presswork

HME 55 ton power press with CNC coil feed line.

Production of higher volume sheet metal pressings through dedicated tooling to achieve component cost savings.

Fastening Insertion

Haegar automatic inserter

Inserted bushes and studs save you time and money in assembling your sheet metal parts. Inserts are ideal for use with larger sheet metal enclosures where they need to be constructed from many parts.

Welding of sheet metal fabrications

Tig, Mig and Oxy-Acetylene

Complex sheet metal fabrications can be created from a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Spot Welding of sheet metal fabrications

Various machines up to 20KVA capacity.

Fast assembly of mild steel, zintec, galvanised and stainless steel sheet metal parts to form finished products. This can remove the need for you to assemble sheet metal parts with fixings saving you time and money.

Cutting of sheet metal blanks

Safan guillotine

Straight accurately cut edges in sheet metal up to 2500mm long.  Sheet metal front panel edges can be re-trimmed after CNC punching to produce a clean continuous profile.

Rolling

Rollers up to 1250mm

The forming of curved sheet metal work can be achieved either by rolling or step and repeat bending on our CNC press brakes.

Sawing

Semi-automatic saw

Mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel bar, tube, extrusion and strip can be sawed to any length. Tubular frame works are used as the basis of larger sheet metal enclosures.

3D software models

Radan CAD/CAM software suite

Production of accurate sheet metal blanks ready for CNC punching. Input data can be your DXF, DWG, 3D SAT files or paper based drawings. The use of this software enables complex sheet metal fabrications to be manufactured to close tolerances.

Production Management

Colbek P4W software

This software enables V&F Sheet Metal to provide you with quick and accurate quotations for your sheet metal components. We can monitor all stages of production from the order to your delivery.

SERVICES OFFERED

Outsourcing of sheet metal treatments, finishes, laser cutting, spinning and final assembly work can be arranged to offer you the complete subcontract engineering service for all your sheet metal work.

CAD/CAM

Have you ever wanted to be able to show your customer a 3D image of a sheet metal fabrication that you have designed? You can have an image e-mailed to you with a free viewer that can be used to prove your component without the need for expensive samples. Using the latest Radan 3D and AutoCAD 2D software we are able to communicate with your design department in a variety of formats including DXF, DWG and 3D SAT. With V&F Sheet Metal working closely with you on your designs will help you to save money on the manufacture of your sheet metal components.
