The die size options are a guide to the material thicknesses that we can punch with each set of tooling.
0.2mm die clearance can be used from 0.4mm – 2.0mm (and sometimes above depending on material specification)
0.4mm die clearance can be used from 2.5mm – 3.0mm.
0.6mm die clearance can be used from 4.0mm and above.
Many of the circular tools can be used with other punch size dies to extend the working range of the punch into thicker gauges. If you are not sure please contact us and will be happy to investigate the best CNC tooling option for you.
