Sunday, February 10th, 2013
V and F Sheet Metal have started to replace the front on their new sheet metal manufacturing plant in Fareham, Hampshire. We have decided to re-clad the front to bring the building up to date and present an image more in keeping with our modern manufacturing plant inside.
- Building front in Fareham, Hampshire
Here we go fitting a new cladding front to our building in Fareham, Hampshire
- Stripping back a leaky porch cover
Stripping back a leaky porch cover ready for new cladding trim and roof covering
- Stripping off old rusty cladding
Once all the old rusty cladding has been removed from the porch cover we can start to put it right, more photos to follow.
- At last we have started to see some progress
Now the new cladding is going over the existing building front it looks so fresh.
- Steady as she goes
As the cladding goes on you can see how faded the old cladding had become.
- Fresh new look
Once the whole building front has been replaced it should look brilliant.
We will be posting more images of the progress as the job goes on during the next week. Once this work is completed and new signage installed it will see the complete refurbishment of the inside and outside front of the building. It’s nice to see investment going into a sheet metal manufacturing company in England. We are always updating our CNC programming software, manufacturing plant and tooling so this move to new premises and it’s refurbishment is the icing on the cake for us.
If you want to see how we have converted the inside of the building to suit our manufacturing processes please look back over some of the blog posts from the last few weeks.
