Here’s a great example of the versatility of using laser cutting to cut holes in stainless steel angles.
Fast Tube by Casper
We have cut a jig plate with a series on slots as pockets to place the stainless steel angles in. The laser cutter is then programmed to follow a pattern of positions to suit the rows of angles. By careful positioning of the jig plate the holes can be accurately cut in each angle bracket. We have produced the same effect in mild steel tube where we used to drill out holes we can now laser cut them straight on the bed of the machine.
