Recent examples of sheet metal work manufactured in aluminium from our factory in Fareham, Hampshire.
We manufacture a wide range of sheet metal products in aluminium alloys include 1050a, 5251 and 6082. These standard alloys can produce brackets, front panels, enclosures, heat sinks, gear trays etc. We also use more specialised aluminium alloys such as 33PG, semi-specular, Miro4 and 1100G materials from Alanod to produce a range of lighting reflectors for a range of lighting companies in the UK. These material allow us to focus and diffuse light in many different ways depending on the lamps being used in the light fitting. For more examples of lighting reflectors please take a look at our reflector past projects page. We also finish and treat aluminium products by powder coating, wet spraying, decorative anodising, alocrom 1000 and 1200 treatments as well as Iridite NCP treatments.
Aluminium alloys are a wonderfully flexible material to work with being easily CNC punched and CNC bent up. They can be welded, riveted and have a number of inserts easily fixed to them. Sheet metal components can be light yet strong, cosmetically attractive and long lasting.
