Bending sheet metal reflectors on a Trumpf 7036 CNC press brake at V and F Sheet Metal in Fareham, Hampshire.

Fast Tube by Casper

0.4mm thick pre-anodised reflector aluminium is being bent into shapes to create reflectors for a paint drying heater. The initial flat sheet metal blank has been produced by CNC punching from full sized sheets on a Trumpf 3000R CNC punch press machine. The correct program and tooling has then been used to produce the bend angles and lengths and form up the reflectors. Once the program has been created, saved and tested the operator can follow the program cycle again and again to create identical components following the dimensions of the customers drawings.
